DIVING: Dive with us in the Pearl Islands!
Diving in the Pearl Islands is a one-of-a-kind experience you won’t want to miss. Thanks to their volcanic origins, these waters are packed with nutrients and marine life. Get ready to swim alongside colorful fish like angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, pufferfish, trumpetfish, Moorish idols, sergeant majors, groupers, rainbowfish… and so many more!
You’ll also have the chance to spot turtles, rays, lobsters, starfish, eels, oysters, and even reef sharks like the whitetip and brown sharks.
Good to know: You're diving in the Pacific Ocean, where the currents can be a bit stronger than in the Caribbean. But that also means more chances to see bigger and more exciting sea creatures!
Visibility: Usually between 7 and 12 meters (25–35 feet) – perfect for underwater exploration.
Water temperature: Warm year-round, although you might need a wetsuit in February and March.
Top Dive Spots Near Contadora Island:
Pacheca & Pachequilla Islands: Just a short boat ride away, these sites are amazing for spotting large schools of fish, rays, eels, whitetip reef sharks, surgeonfish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, and damselfish. Plus, you’ll find colorful soft corals and sponges.
7 Pearls Shipwreck: Located near Contadora, this sunken ferry sits at about 20 meters deep and has become an artificial reef full of marine life. A must-see!
A valid diving license is required for these dives.
New to diving? No worries!
Our Discover Scuba Diving experience is perfect for beginners. It includes a short training session and one dive guided by a certified instructor. No license needed—just curiosity and a sense of adventure!

Whale Watching: Whale Watching in Contadora – A Magical Experience!
